Map Depicting Indian Rivers : Indus flows through only Jammu & Kashmir. 1114km of total   3,180 km  is in India.The traditional source of the river is the  Senge Khabab  or "Lion's Mouth", a perennial spring, not far from the sacred  Mount Kailash  marked by a long low line of Tibetan  chortens . Jhelum, Ravi, Beas(Bipasha), Sutlej(satadru) and Chenab(Chandrabhaga) are the tributaries of the river Indus. India/Sindh/Hind name has its origin with this river.
